General Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Introduction
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern the relationship between AKKO CAFÉ (Company Number BE0795.851.940, City of Brussels) and its customers. Any order or online purchase of products or services implies full acceptance of these Terms.

2. Products and Services

  • Food, Non-Food Products and Beverages: All products, including fresh items and beverages, are subject to availability and seasonal variations.
  • Boutique Items and Accessories: Slight variations in colour, size, or shape may occur for handmade or decorative items.
  • Availability: Product availability displayed online or in-store is not guaranteed, and items may occasionally be out of stock.

3. Prices

  • All prices are displayed in euros (€), VAT included.
  • Online product prices do not include delivery fees, unless otherwise stated.
  • Promotions and special offers are subject to explicitly stated conditions.

4. Orders and Purchases

  • Online Orders: Orders are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. The contract becomes effective upon receipt of the order confirmation email.

5. Payment
Payment is required at the time of online ordering, using the available payment methods (credit card, etc.). Online transactions are secured through encryption.

6. Pickup for Online Orders

  • Preparation Time: Orders are generally prepared within 2 to 5 business days, for guidance only and not guaranteed.
  • Pickup Location: Orders must be collected at:
    15 Rue du Bailli,
    1000 Brussels, Belgium.

7. Right of Withdrawal and Refunds

  • Non-Food Products: Customers have the right to withdraw within 14 days of collection, provided the products are unopened and returned in their original condition to 15 Rue du Bailli. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Exceptions: Damaged items must be reported within 3 days of in-store collection.
  • Refunds: Refunds will be processed after receipt and inspection of returned goods.

8. Liability
Akko Café’s liability is limited to the total amount of the order and excludes any indirect or consequential damages.

9. Force Majeure
Akko Café’s obligations may be suspended or cancelled in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including strikes, technical failures, natural disasters, public health restrictions, or similar events.

10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of Brussels shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
